UPCOMING PRODUCTION
Frozen Veils: Echoes of Poets
“Frozen Veils began with two phrases that lingered in my mind: Emily Dickinson’s Hope is the thing with feathers and Robert Frost’s But I have promises to keep. I felt a profound urge to share themes of resilience as a timely response to our current landscape, reflecting our humanity through the lens of timeless classical poetry.”
— Hee Yun Kim, composer

Strings Attached Across the Pacific (2025)
Strings Attached Across the Pacific is a multimedia concert that invites audiences to dive deep into the Pacific Ocean and journey through a world where cultures, nature, and music converge. Featuring a unique ensemble of Korean haegeum, Chinese erhu, and Western string quartet, the program weaves Eastern and Western musical traditions into a rich and evocative soundscape. Through ocean-inspired music, integrated electronic sound design, live-responsive visuals, and immersive lighting, the concert creates an experience that transports listeners beneath the waves. It was selected as a winning project for the 2024/25 season of the Elevator Project at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
This innovative concert became the creative spark that inspired the founding of Threaded Resonance. Its centerpiece work, Calling of the Whales, continues to evolve and was performed at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage in January 10, 2026. This production represents the heart of our mission: interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural diversity, and storytelling through sound and multimedia artistry.
